Context & Background

Farmer Producer Companies operate large-scale procurement centers. Their workflow involves vehicle weighing, quality checks (QC), rate negotiation, and payments.

The Core Problem: A process designed for 50 trades/day was stretched to 300+ trades/day manually. Staff had to stay late to reconcile data, and a single mistake cascaded into hours of rework.

Research & Key Insights

I spent 8 days at the procurement center shadowing staff. We mapped the 5-step journey: Details -> QC -> Weighing -> Accounting -> Payments.

Crucial Insight: Staff relied heavily on muscle memory. Breaking the existing sequence would guarantee adoption failure. The new system had to digitize the flow without changing the mental model.

Implementation Strategy

Prioritized "cannot fail in field" features.
Rapid usability tests with on-field prototypes.
Sequential trade flow respecting real-world steps.
Cut low-impact features to meet 3.5 month timeline.
